Good Things at GoodGuys Scottsdale 3/13/10
man…I gotta tell ya. I am looking forward to going to the GoodGuys Show in Scottsdale, AZ on March 13th. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a GoodGuys show or not but talk about premiere automotive events!
Last time we went in November it was my first one ever and I’m told we went on the “wrong” day but to me it was still awesome. Not only did I get to roll in the Ahwooga Wagon with Joe, and spend time with old friends as well as made new ones….as a wanna be automotive illustrator, I was in reference heaven!
This next one I will be ready. I imagine my camera’s shutter will be a blur. I’m hoping to get a cool gallery started up here on Ahwooga.com, not only cars but people too.
If you plan to attend, look us up. We will be in the swap meet no doubt. Handing out business card shop rags and our Ahwooga key chains. If you don’t know what we look like, just look for a big ole green Packard Paddy Wagon, a brown chap in a giant straw hat, red shop rags and laughter…that’s where we’ll be.

Could someone call their friend in Wyoming?
At the beginning of everyday I log into Google analytics to see all of the interesting things that are happening to the site. One of the coolest things I look at, is the map overlay. Here are some stats for the short period the site has been live;
Countries - 70
Cities World Wide – 2192
Cities US – 1854
Visitors from Wyoming – Big Fat Goose Egg!!
Please help remedy this.
Ahwooga joins Jalopy Journal
Today was a banner day (pun intended) for team Ahwooga.
As of this morning we became a sponsor on jalopyjournal.com .
Jalopy Journal is one of the most active sites out there and it’s full of folks who understand what Ahwooga is all about. We are honored to be a part of it.
Creating the banner was a blast as the challenge was to come up with something Ahwooga-ish and Jalopy Journal-ish at the same time.
We did 4 and settled on one. I thought it would be cool to include them all.

Our first month is behind us. One word, “Wow”!!!!
So the first fact that needs to be announced, is our prediction abilities are no good.
Of coarse when we launched we had the typical spread sheets projecting traffic, listings, blah blah to project our first 30 days. Needless to say, Sunday I re-did all of projections to reflect actual numbers.
Here is what the first 30 days produced
Net -4003 listings
105 sales through the site.
Google is downloading on average 4500 pages per day.
1000 shop towels and 700 key chains handed out at swap meets.
And the coolest thing is the hundreds of sellers we spoke to that have or are going to add Ahwooga.com to there media mix. I’m sure the next 30 days are going to be just as exciting and twice as busy.
