Creating a Great Listing |
Click Register on the blue menu bar. |

| The only difference between registering as a Buyer or a Seller on Ahwooga.com is we require Sellers to fill in the credit card information section located on the lower right side of the registration page. |

To begin, fill in all the information in the fields. The word "required" indicates that a field must be filled in. If you leave a required field blank you will receive a system error.
Note: The State field displays after you select a Country. |

After you fill in the left side, if your billing information is identical to your personal/mailing information, click copy to copy your information into the fields on the right side. |
|
The Buyer/Seller registration difference is the credit card information section. We require our Sellers to enter valid credit card information. This helps us eliminate spam, fraud and other distractions on our site.
Note: All credit card information is encrypted. You will only be able to see the last 4 digits after you register. |

Enter your credit card number: Numbers only no dashes
Enter your credit card's expiration date in the 2 digit month 4 digit year format. (ex. 02/2012)
Select your card type from the drop-down menu.
Enter the 3 or 4 digit security code from the back of your credit card.
Note: We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. |

Verify all required information is filled in then check the "I agree to the terms and privacy policy" box.

| After you click register a verification code will be sent to your email address. if you do not see the verification code in your inbox, check your spam box. |

Note: You can register as a Buyer and than at a later point go to My Account and add the credit card information to your account details. |

| There are a number of ways to search on ahwooga.com. You can search by Quick search box, catageories, browse, stores and bread crumbs. In this lesson we will take a closer look at each option and throw in a couple extra bits here and there. |

| Title page Quick search - If you know what you're looking for this is the way to search for it. Just type in your search term and click Go. For best results use singular terms. For example, search tire instead of tires. or Packard instead of packards because listings are mostly done by individual item. capture hilite box with term in it and go box
If you know the listing number or seller name you can select the radio button and search by that.
You can click The advanced search button which will allow you to narrow your search using a variety of criteria. capture show advanced search button and page |

Title page catagories - On the left side you will see a top level category list. capture |

| To search a category just click the category name and all listings in that category will come up. capture |

| Notice how the menu on the left now shows the sub catagories of (cars and trucks). capture |

| The catagory menu will continue to show you the sublevels as you drill-down. capture |

Browse -By clicking the browse button on the main menu you can browse through the featured listings and categories. capture |

| If you click on a catagory you will see that in this mode, the browse feature only goes 2 levels deep. You get the main cataegories and the first level sub categories. capture |

You could at this point go to more sub levels by using the categories menu on the left. capture

Stores - After clicking the stores button you will see the featured stores and their store logos. capture |

| This is a rotating area so it's not the same every time. You can also see additional stores and their descriptions below. capture |

| Just click on the store logo you want to visit and you can see that stores listings as well as find out more about that store. capture |

| In the stores listings you can click this little double arrowed icon and sort that store by when a bid ends for example. capture |
|
| You can tell which are auctions by the hammer, the fixed price items have this price tag icon and the classifieds have this newspaper icon capture |

| All the information I need about the store is here. If I am on this store page and I wanted to contact the store owner I can click the owners name and I can then send them a message. capture |

| other things to note. If I click the stores button you will see a store search on the left. This search box will only search items that are within a store so single listings will not be returned. capture |

| Bread Crumbs - Throughout ahwooga.com as you are viewing pages you will notice this text across the grey bar. As you can see these are actually links we call bread crumbs. capture |

| The bread crumbs can help you move back to a previous level instead of using your browser back button. (show ac example go 3 or 4 levels) You can easily step back to where you were and take another path if you like. capture |
