Excel Formulas: If you are working on an Excel spreadsheet here's some formulas you might find useful.
Formula Description
=LEN(cell) Use this find the length of a title
=PROPER(cell) Use this to title case a title
=cell&cell Use this to combine two cells together
=cell&" "&cell Use this to combine two cells together with a space
=cell&" "&"yourtext"&" "&cell Use this to combine two cells together with spaces and insert text in the middle
=cell&" "&cell&" "&"yourtext" Use this to combine two cells together with spaces and insert text at the end
To use these, insert a column to the right and write the formula in the new cell to the right of your information.
Once the formula has been written, copy the cell and paste it in the original cell using "Paste Special" then chose "Values"
You new information will be correctly formatted.
