Oct. 19 – Scenic VW Cruise 11:30am
This year we will cruise through picturesque Vail, AZ. The 25 mile trek will show you some of the most beautiful and rugged areas in the sonoran desert. There are very few lights and it is a road well paved so it should be super super fun. The cruise will end at Purple Heart Park in Rita Ranch where the BBQ will begin.

Oct. 19 – Joe’s World Famous pre-show BBQ 3pm – 6pm AT Purple Heart Park
The BBQ will be held at Purple Heart Park in Rita Ranch. It is on the SouthEast side of Tucson and is a great location for the BBQ. There is plenty of parking on the West side in the lot and down the street. The park is smaller, but the weenies are big! More fun and games this year and lots of cool people.

Oct. 18 – 20 – The Red Barn Roundup
All you Type 2 folk can camp on the property next door to Chirco. There’s room for all of you. Last year’s events included live music, raffles, prizes and an extreme amount of fun. The Tucson Bus Mob helps run this get together and they always do it right. The Red Barn Roundup has become a “must-do” event for many campers. Join us.

Oct. 20 – The 18th Annual Chirco.com Bugtoberfest at Chirco 8am – 2pm
The show as always promises to be one of the most fun times you can have with your air-cooled car in Arizona. People’s choice awards, club awards, engine blow, awesome raffle prizes (no junk), Big Rattlesnake Alley Swap Meet, Music, entertainment in the form of you aircooled clowns, big in-store savings, t-shirts, posters, and a few surprises await those who attend.
Cost to enter the show is FREE, Swapmeet space is FREE, Cost to attend is FREE
This show does benefit the Foodbank of Tucson. A donation of non-perishable food items is appreciated. Our record is 1680 pounds of food collected at the show. Help us get a “Ton of Food” for people who really do need it.
