This is the rubber brake fluid reservoir That is used on early Volkswagen beetle’s and buses as well as Volkswagen Karmann Ghia’s that had the metal brake fluid canister, these fit Volkswagen bug 1954 through 1960, Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1956 through 1960 and the Volkswagen bus 1950 through 1960
